From theme tunes to installation pieces to jazz scores to pop songs, Peter Vettese has worked closely with numerous leading figures in the music industry for over three decades. Vettese was born into a renowned musical household and his first experience of public performance came at the tender age of nine when he joined his father’s big band as a regular in the line up. Amongst numerous successful collaborations with world renowned artists including Sia, Annie Lennox, Robin Gibb (co‐writing the last song Robin performed, ‘Don’t Cry Alone’), Melanie C, Beverly Knight, Ronan Keating & Boyzone, Julian Lennon – Peter co‐wrote and produced the much-loved, inspiring song ‘Proud’ with Heather Small (ASCAP & BMI AWARD WINNING, Stevie American Business and Anvil Awards Winner – not to mention the 2012 Olympic Bid Theme!). He also pursues his passion for original jazz influenced scores, including his theme for American Airlines ‘New Yorker’ advertisement featuring James Gandolfini, performing with The Corrado Rustici Trio, producing and writing for Nils Wulker’s gold-selling album ‘Up’ – and his personal Miles Davis/Gil Evans inspired collaboration with Zoe Pollock The Majesty of Light, the eponymously titled first album is released in March 2017.
