Written with Beverley Knight, Felix Howard and PJV.

I produced this track (amongst others) on Beverley’s Affirmation album and had the pleasure of recording her singing with what I consider ‘soul’. I kept the production values simple and this allowed her to navigate the track with care and sensitivity. Pretty much one take (albeit after several of ‘getting into the zone’) and evidence of not just one of UK’s best singers but a fine musician as well.
