From the same album ‘Diva’, Annie had been humming ‘Keep young and beautiful’ one day and I volunteered to do an arrangement loosely based on the Meyer Davis version of 1933. I spent ages getting the right instrument sounds (all of which I played in my garden shed!!) and took my recording of the track to Steve Lipson. Annie put her vocal down and a scratchy record sample topped it off!
