The Invisible Maze

I wanted to feature Oboe and French Horns in this piece. It begins with a strong and assured melody (to represent setting out through the maze) but quickly gives way to mystery and increasing awareness of losing oneself in the maze. To exaggerate the feeling of disquiet, I played a very unusual instrument – an Ondes Martinot which I have loved the sound of since my youth.
