The Secret Miracle

I was commissioned to write and contribute compositions for a production music album for Sony/ATV ‘Classical Fantasy’ that would be recorded by a 70 piece orchestra. Here are short extracts from those pieces.

The Secret Miracle.

I loved the score for the 1961 British film ‘Whistle down the wind’ written by Malcolm Arnold. In the film, three farm children are enthralled by the discovery of a fugitive, who they mistakenly believe to be Jesus, hiding in their barn. The score beautifully supports the innocent and naïve attitudes of the children by being both very ‘English’ pastoral with a sense of wonder and mystery. This is the atmosphere I wanted to create with ‘The Secret Miracle’.
