Sia, and PJV.

I wrote this with Sia and Cliff Jones at an EMI songwriters week and ‘You have been loved’ was on her 2007 album ‘Some people have real problems’. The day we wrote this followed on from a week of extreme emotions (the previous day I had co-written a song about the passing of my co-writer’s mother). Hooking up with Sia when she was still hurting from the demise of a longstanding relationship was yet more sorrow but, I believe, a beautiful song.
